m-(Benzyloxy)-α-dibenzylaminopropiophenone Hydrochloride is an intermediate for the synthesis of Threo-Metaraminol Fumarate Salt (T404502), which is an impurity of Metaraminol Bitartrate (M225565). It is used in pharmacodynamic studies such as the prediction of pressor activity of some phenylethylamine derivatives by applying a pattern recognition method. It was one of 40 phenylethylamine derivatives analysed for blood pressure-raising activity in this study.
