3-Amino-6-bromobiphenyl is used as a reactant in the preparation of chloro aryl indolecarboxamide derivatives as inhibitors of human liver glycogen phosphorylase a. Also used in synthesis of large and stable colloidal graphene quantum dots with tunable size.
