Pirquinozol inhibits IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) and passive pulmonary anaphylaxis in the rat but failed to affect IgG-mediated PCA in the rat, IgE-mediated PCA in the mouse, or IgG1-mediated PCA in the guinea pig.
